Internet personality controversial almost eight months after his viral video “Taking Accountability” Shane Dawson gets some attention for something he said.
Dawson’s fiancé on February 5th Ryland Adams has an “Extreme Hoarder Room Makeover!” Video in which Dawson appeared. While in a furniture store together, Dawson raved about a life-size red horse statue. “I want him so badly,” he said. “Here’s the thing – I know I’m weird and I know my career is over and I know I’m just that crazy guy buying weird toys.”
Dawson has held back for the past few months, most recently posting to YouTube and Twitter on June 26, the day he uploaded an apology video amid renewed responses to past problematic behavior.
“I’ve done a lot of things in my past that I hate, that I wish I could go, that I wanted to delete videos or un-tag my Instagram things, or literally do anything to pretend I would have it. ” Those things didn’t happen, “he said in the video.” Because yeah, I’ve apologized for a lot, but I’m 31, almost 32. Those apologies suck. I don’t know who that person is anymore. “
