The documentary Crip Camp didn’t win an award at the 2021 Oscars, but its nomination meant a lot for its inclusion in the annual awards show.
Prior to airing, the documentary team attended the red carpet celebrations on Sunday April 25th to honor the Netflix Project for Best Documentary. A service dog was one of the stars of the film, and the adorable addition to the event can be seen in the photo below.
The name of the cute puppy is Gojiand the animal was decked out with a fair amount of bling while accompanying the film’s Impact producer Andraea Lavant to this year’s Academy Awards.
The documentary category winner was My Octopus Teacher, but the team behind Crip Camp, recently named Best Documentary at the 2021 Independent Spirit Awards, still had a lot to celebrate.
