The friend characters will be there for each other when the rain starts to rain, but there seems to be a limit to how soaked they are really ready.
Courteney Cox is a guest on the Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday May 6th as previewed. Host at one point during the visit Ellen DeGeneres asked the 56-year-old Cougar Town alum about her memories of the cast dancing in the fountain, as seen in the opening credits and marketing imagery for the permanent NBC sitcom.
When Ellen asked whose idea it was to let the cast frolic in the water, Courtney replied, “Well it was definitely not mine. We’ve been in that well for a long time. Someone thought this was just really fun, and let me Tell them what’s going on – it’s no fun dancing in a fountain for hours. “
She continued, “I remember Matthew Perry at one point to say and we didn’t know each other so well at that point. But I remember, and so is Matthew, but he said, ‘I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t in that well.’ “
