For years Cameron Diaz starred in Hollywood blockbusters. From my best friend’s wedding to Mary’s Angels to The Holiday, the 48-year-old actress has made one hit after another.
But she quit after Annie was released in 2014 and has not returned to acting since. Still, she was busy. Diaz got married Benji Madden in 2015, and the couple announced last year that they had welcomed a little girl, Raddix. She also published The Longevity Book (the sequel to her New York Times bestseller The Body Book), invested in a number of companies, and started her own wine brand, Avaline.
It looks like Diaz has no plans to return to the big screen either. During a recent interview with Yahoo Finance Presents, she recalled a friend of a producer’s also working on big movies but shifting her priorities after starting a family.
“Your family began to develop and I saw them say, ‘Oh wait, I only got 100%,'” recalled the four-time Golden Globe nominee. “You only have 100%, we don’t have two 100%, we have 100%. Right? So you have to break that 100% … how much are you going to give to your family? How much are you going to give to your career?”
