Every June, the LGBTQ + community and its allies come together to recognize our progress toward equality and to celebrate the power of diversity. After last year’s Pride was largely virtual due to the pandemic, attendees will reunite in person at Pride events taking place across the country and around the world.
Throughout the month, celebrities like to like JoJo Siwa, Laverne Cox, Jessica Biel, Lady Gaga and Jonathan Van Ness have emerged on social media with uplifting messages about what the LGBTQ + community means to them.
Neil Patrick Harris shared a photo of him and his husband David BurtkaTwins, 10 years old Harper and Gideon, on Instagram and writes: “Happy Pride Month! I’m so immensely proud of these two – that they live in a world of limitless possibilities – it makes my heart swell and my smile grow. Celebrate your truth good good out there this month. “
