It’s not a secret June “Mama June” Shannon struggles to regain her daughters’ trust after a drug possession arrest in 2019 led to a rehab stay.
But in an exclusive look at the April 9 episode of Mama June: Road to Redemption, Alana and her mom will get back together for an honest, insightful conversation for the first time in over a year.
“It’s just hard because you weren’t there on my first day of school and I think that’s a pretty big deal,” Alana shared tearfully. “It was hard for me not to have my mom there and I had to come home and tell them pumpkin What I was doing. I’m very grateful that Pumpkin was there for me, but why weren’t you there? Why weren’t you there when I needed you most “
While Mama June confessed to being “sick” and unable to take care of herself, the WE tv reality star told her daughters that she was ready to make things better.
