Here’s another reason 2021 is looking up: Miranda Cosgrove, Jerry Trainor and Nathan Kress signed up for a restart of iCarly, which ended after six seasons in 2012.
The Nickelodeon series reboot will premiere on Paramount + and feature much of the original cast, aside from Noah Munck and Jennette McCurdywho recently confirmed that she was done acting.
“I stopped trying and writing and directing a few years ago – it’s going great,” she said on the latest episode of her podcast, Empty Inside. “My mom set me up when I was 6 years old, and by age, 10 or 11 years old, I was the main financial support for my family … I ended up quitting after my mom died because she died, so to speak many of her ideas died for my life. “
It is currently unclear where iCarly will catch up again, as the show ended when Carly (Miranda) moved to Italy with her father and Sam (Jennette) Ariana GrandeThe winning character of the spinoff series, Sam & Cat.
