In an exclusive chat with E! News, actress Precious Mustapha sounded about the success of Netflix’s latest young adult drama. After making its first season debut on Netflix last month, Fate: The Winx Saga was # 1 in the US and trending around the world.
“I feel really, really happy and overwhelmed,” Mustapha said exclusively to E! News. “And it’s really nice to see the response in the sense that the audience really understood the characters and enjoyed the show.”
For those unfamiliar with the show, Fate: The Winx Saga is a reinterpretation of Iginio StraffiThe animated series Winx Club follows a group of fairies who attend the magical Alfea College in the Other World.
With an already established fan base and a longstanding TVD producer and author Brian Young At the top, Fate was guaranteed to be a hit for the streaming service. However, Mustapha, who plays the water fairy Aisha, didn’t know how successful the show would be.
