The focus was on the romance between Tom’s Peter Parker and Zendaya’s MJ, which ended due to an unfortunate curse from Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch).

“That’s good: ‘Some suggest that Parker’s powers include the male spider’s ability to hypnotize females,'” MJ Peter said in the footage while reading from a newspaper. Peter replied, “Stop, come on,” which led to a hilarious joke: “Yes, my spider lord.”

The trailer for the director Jon Watts‘Film teased Peter when he was publicly outed as Spider-Man, leading to possible punishment. In an obvious attempt to clear his name, Pete sought out Strange to use his powers to free everyone’s memories of the latest developments. But at the last minute, the web slinger realized that this would include loved ones as well.
