Tiger Woods is on the mend.

Three days after a car accident in which he was seriously injured, the professional golf team said he was “in a good mood” and grateful for the good wishes from fans around the world. Tiger underwent additional procedures after being transported to a second Los Angeles hospital, according to a new statement posted on social media on Friday, February 26.

“Tiger moved to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and received follow-up exams for his injuries this morning,” the update said. “The procedures were successful and he is now recovering and in good spirits.”

In addition, the athlete and his family would like to “thank you all for the wonderful support and messages you have received over the past few days.”

“We won’t have any further updates at this point,” the statement concluded.

It is not yet clear how long Tiger is expected to stay in the hospital. After the accident on Tuesday morning, he was taken to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and underwent emergency surgery on his right lower leg and ankle.
