Who is expected to be present in person?
Many of the attendees can appear in person, although previous awards shows such as the 2020 Emmys and 2021 Golden Globes have held several acceptance speeches at home.
In March, the producers emailed the nominees to let them know that zoom was not allowed. All appearances would have to take place in person at the ceremony. However, after the academy received criticism of the policy, organizers said they would relax the requirements, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
