It’s a boy!
Queen Elizabeth II’s granddaughter, Zara Tindall, welcomed a son and husband Mike Tindall on Sunday March 21st. A spokesman for the couple announced: “Zara and Mike Tindall are excited to announce the birth of their third child. Lucas Philip Tindall. “The bundle of joy that joins the siblings Mia Grace and Lena Elizabeth, weighed 4 ounces at 8 pounds.
On his podcasts “The Good,” “The Bad,” and “The Rugby,” Mike, a retired rugby professional, shared the “chaotic” story of baby Lucas’ birth. On the last episode, Mike said that their son “arrived very quickly” and was born on the bathroom floor! As Mike explained, Zara’s friend Dolly Maude was with them and realized that they would not make it to the hospital in time for the baby to arrive. “So it ran to the gym, got a mat, went to the bathroom, got a mat on the floor, towels down,” he recalled, “clip-clip-clip.”
“Fortunately, the midwife who would meet us in the hospital wasn’t that far away,” he explained [position]. And then the second midwife came shortly after the head arrived. “
