The world mourns the loss of a TV personality.
Francis “Frankie” Mossman, a New Zealand actor who appeared on the Starz series Spartacus, died on Saturday August 14th in Sydney, Australia at the age of 33. The deceased actor’s team from the agency Kathryn Rawlings & Associates confirmed his death in a statement to E! News.
“It is with deep sadness that we report the death of Francis Mossman. Francis has been part of KR Actors whānau for many years and was very popular in the industry and among his colleagues,” says the statement with the Māori word “whānau” meaning “Extended family”.
The message continued: “Francis will always be a ray of hope and a source of positivity and fun. We will touch Francis and his family from the heart during this unimaginably difficult time.”
His brothers Laurence and Jeremy Mossman launched a GoFundMe fundraiser to transport his remains to New Zealand to help cover funeral expenses. No cause of death was disclosed.
