E! has officially announced the premiere date for the new competition series Clash of the Cover Bands, hosted by Stephen “tWitch” boss, with Grammy winner Meghan trainer, queen Front man Adam Lambert and “Song Factory” songwriter Ester Dean as a judge. The series, executive producer of Jimmy Fallon and Electric hot dog, celebrates its premiere on Wednesday, October 13th. E! revealed today.
In Clash of the Cover Bands, two cover bands go head-to-head for $ 10,000 and rock ‘n’ roll rights. At the end of the season, a winning band will receive a whopping $ 25,000 and the opportunity to perform in the studio for a musical performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Viewers can watch the premiere on Wednesday, October 13th, with the first of 10 thematic half-hour episodes. From pop divas to 80s icons, kings of country, platinum icons and rock legends, bands compete for the title of the most entertaining cover performance.
Among the artists covered this season are Aretha Franklin, Blink 182, Bon Jovi, Britney Spears, Carrie Underwood, Celine Dion, Coldplay, Dolly Parton, Elton John, Lady Gaga and U2.
