Evan Peters completely changed his appearance for his upcoming role as a convicted serial killer and sex offender Jeffrey Dahmer.
On Tuesday, June 8, the 34-year-old Mare of Easttown star was photographed in costume for the first time on the set of the upcoming Netflix limited series Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story in Los Angeles. Evans role as the title character in the co-creators’ 10 episode project Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan was first announced in March.
To play the criminal, captured in 1991 and later sentenced to 16 life sentences before being killed by a fellow inmate in 1994, Evan wore blonde hair and glasses, and a plaid shirt and jeans. The actor, previously known for his work with Ryan Murphy on American Horror Story, can be seen in his role in the photo below.
The cast of the True Crime series also includes Richard Jenkinswho plays Jeffrey’s father. In addition, Niecy Nash portrayed Glenda Cleveland, a Milwaukee woman who reported Jeffrey months before he was arrested in July 1991.
