The 2021 BET Awards are just around the corner and we look back on some of the most memorable red carpet moments from previous awards shows.
The annual event that brings together the biggest names in entertainment and sports is hosted by Taraji P. Henson, recognizes the achievements of the year in music, film, television and sport and at the same time recognizes the stars who pave the way and stimulate change with their platform.
This year, Megan Thee stallion and DaBaby are among the top candidates with seven nominations each. Plus, Patrick Mahomes, Serena Williams, zendaya, drake, Cardi B and the late Chadwick Boseman also received nominations. It goes without saying that the BET Awards, which, unlike last year’s virtual show, will be held in person at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, will be a must-see star-studded event.
