Hours after her child was announced, the singer returned to social media for a health update. “Ok. So everything looks better, but we’re not out of the woods yet,” tweeted Nick early on Friday, April 23rd. “We have to stay in the hospital one more night. But dad and mom watch baby like a hawk Thank you again for all your love and support. See you.”

Nick Carter and his wife, Lauren Kitt Carter, welcomed a baby, but the Backstreet Boys star revealed that the birth of the newborn didn’t go as planned.
“We’re proud to announce that our baby has officially arrived,” Nick tweeted on Thursday April 22nd, with some minor complications, but things look a little better after the first night. “
“I wanted to thank everyone for all the prayers and good thoughts during this time,” he added later. “We will keep you posted.”
The 41-year-old singer sparked concern among fans on Wednesday April 21 when he posted a photo of himself in the hospital. “Yes, I am a believer. I ask God to give us strength to protect mom and baby,” he wrote on Instagram next to the picture and added the hashtags #fatherhood #prayers.
