Nicky Jam is ready to dance with someone.
And it’s easy to see why the reggaetón singer whose real name is Nick Rivera Caminero, is in the mood to celebrate: Not only has he just released his Hew song “Fan de Tus Photos” Romeo Santos, but he also speaks Butch Cat in Tom & Jerry, which is now in theaters and streaming on HBO Max. Both projects were of great importance to the 40-year-old artist.
After working with Romeo for the 2017 track “Bella y Sensual” with Papa YankeeNicky was ready to do “a song alone” with the bachata “King” and E! News: “I’m a big fan of Romeo Santos, I mean there is no Spaniard who isn’t. He’s a legend in our music, in Spanish music in general.”
But it took a while for Nicky to show Romeo various options before they found the “perfect song” in “Fan de Tus Photos”.
“It meets halfway,” he explained, adding that it combines “the sexy romantic poetic vibe” and “the reggaetón urban beat”.
