Michael Strahan has become one of the millions of people around the world to be infected with coronavirus.
While the Good Morning America co-host stays home, his colleagues shared the news with viewers on Thursday, January 28th. “We know you noticed Michael wasn’t with us this week.” Robin Roberts confirmed during the show on Thursday. “He wanted us to let you know that he tested positive for COVID. He is home now and is quarantined.”
George Stephanopoulos passed on Strahan’s gratitude for the concern and good wishes. “He’s feeling good too,” the anchor assured.[and] I look forward to being back here soon. “
The journalist also stated that measures have been taken to ensure the safety of everyone on the set. “All of us here,” said Stephanopoulos, “both in front of the camera and behind the scenes – were cleared by Disney to be here after being traced according to CDC guidelines.”
