She is a housewife superfan
“I’m definitely not a newcomer to Housewives,” Mia admitted. “I’ve definitely seen it since the beginning of time, and I always remember being inspired as such a young girl and knowing that these women opened their homes, were so vulnerable, and shared their lives with us. And I thought about that When I got the call, I thought, ‘Okay, now it’s time. That happened.’ “
She didn’t make friends right away
“Finding friends is always a challenge for me,” said Mia. “People are drawn to me, typically it’s other founders or other people who are just not necessarily looking for friendship. You are looking for a business acquaintance, and I can do that to anyone all day. Karen [Huger] and me, we hit it off immediately because she lives in this room with her La Dame and she gets it. She says, ‘Honey, never apologize for not calling back my call because if I don’t call yours, we’re in the same bucket here. We’re busy and focused on our empires. ‘”
