Matt DamonHis daughter’s feelings about his career didn’t seem to generate much goodwill.
The 50-year-old Ocean’s Eleven star appeared on CBS Sunday Morning on Sunday, July 18, where he was asked if fans still associate him with Good Will Hunting, the film that made him and his co – Screenwriter led to Oscar wins Ben Affleck. His response included a surprising revelation about the 15-year-old daughter Isabellathat he shares with his wife Luciana Barroso.
“Sure, yes – less and less,” Matt replied. “You know, younger people don’t know that well. You know, my 15-year-old refuses to see it. She doesn’t want to see movies that I star in that they think might be good.”
When asked what he meant, the downsizing star set an example by citing Isabella’s rendition of his poorly received 2017 film The Great Wall. “She just likes to give me shit,” he said. “My daughter said, ‘Yeah, do you remember the movie you made, The Wall?’ I said, ‘It was called The Great Wall.’ She says, ‘Dad, there’s nothing great about this movie.’ “Matt collapsed when he remembered it.
