Lil Nas X.The latest music video has a lot of people cheering, but the rapper can take the heat and dish out some of his own.
The 21-year-old Grammy winner clapped back on critics for “MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name),” which contains religious and sexually explicit imagery. It shows the star in boxer shorts and thigh-high black patent leather boots, who does pole dance in hell and then gives the devil a lap dance.
“They say a gay n — a twerking on a CGI Satan is the end of times,” tweeted Lil Nas X on Friday March 26th, “as if slavery and the Holocaust didn’t happen.”
He also tweeted, “Every week there are mass shootings that our government does nothing to stop. I’m sliding down a CGI pole, it’s not what is destroying society.”
“The system is aimed at children,” tweeted one reviewer. “Lil Nas X’s fan base is mostly kids. They did the same to them Miley Cyrus after Hannah Montana. “
Lil Nas X replied, “There was no system involved. I made the decision to create the music video. I’m an adult. I won’t spend my entire career looking after your children. It’s your job.”
