While the time has gone on since his sister DeOndra Dixonis premature death, Jamie FoxxThe memories of his beloved sister remain omnipresent.
The Oscar winner’s sibling died in October 2020 at the age of 36. In honor of World Down Syndrome Day on Sunday March 21st, Foxx paid tribute to his deceased sibling on Instagram.
“My heart, my breath … my soul,” he wrote. “I hear your laugh in the house … I hear you slide down the stairs … my heart … my breath … my soul … I love you Deondra, my angel # worlddownsyndromeday2021.”
On October 26, 2020, he went to his Instagram to share the sad news of the loss of his family. “My heart is shattered into a million pieces … my beautiful, loving sister Deondra has changed … I say changed because she will always be alive,” the actor wrote online. “Everyone who knew my sister … knew she was a bright light … I can’t tell you how many times we had parties in the house where she came on the dance floor and stole the show. .. even gave her boyfriend @chrisbrownofficial a run for his money … well, I know she’s in heaven and now she’s dancing with her wings. “
