Lauren Burnham is ready to leave the hospital, but she and Arie Luyendyk Jr.‘s newborn girl cannot come to them yet.
On Tuesday June 15, days after the twins were greeted, the Bachelor Nation star took to her Instagram story to share her “heartbreak” with fans. “Today is so bittersweet,” she subtitled a video of her baby and baby. “We can leave the hospital … but the little sister has to stay behind for the time being.”
Although Lauren did not provide any further details, she asked her followers to “please pray for our girl”.
As fans of the duo may recall, Arie announced the arrival of her twins over the weekend. “@luyendyktwins are here!” he wrote in an Instagram story post on June 12. “Mom and babies are great and everything went smoothly. I spend time cherishing these moments, thank you all for the support.”
Arie later returned to social media to share the first photos of the newborns. “I’ve never been more proud of my wife than I was right now,” the Bachelor alum captioned pictures of Lauren and the twins. “She is the strongest woman I know and I am lucky enough to be with her on this incredible journey. We are proud parents of a healthy boy and girl!”
