Lance Armstrongis the oldest son Luke Armstrong found himself in a complicated legal situation.
According to one from E! 21-year-old Luke was accused of sexually assaulting a then 16-year-old girl in June 2018, an allegation his team strongly denies.
E! Messages can also confirm through court records that Luke was arrested on Tuesday April 6th and has since been released on bail. He was charged with sexually assaulting a child classified as a second degree crime.
Luke’s attorney posted a statement stating that no crime was ever committed.
“A full verification of the facts will confirm that what was alleged absolutely did not happen, and due and thorough legal process will exonerate Luke.” Randy Leavitt said in a statement to E! News. “What happened in high school three years ago wasn’t a crime or sexual assault. Back then, it was a consensual relationship between two young adults that ended up going their separate ways. That charge should never have been brought. certainly not three years later. Fortunately, the judicial system in Texas is working and will establish Luke’s innocence. “
