The team said in a statement released Tuesday, February 9, “We are continuing to gather information about the incident and we will continue to assist local authorities upon request.”

Britt Reid, who is the Kansas City Chiefs’ outside linebacker coach and son of the head coach Andy Reidwas involved in a three-vehicle accident that injured two children.
The NFL team, which will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Super Bowl LV on Sunday, February 7, issued a statement regarding the incident.
“The organization has been made aware of a multi-vehicle accident involving Outside Linebackers coach Britt Reid. We are in the process of gathering information and we will not receive any further comment at this point,” one said Statement on Friday February. 5, per ESPN insider. “Our thoughts and prayers go with everyone involved.”
