John Stamos recently spent time in a hospital but don’t worry the Fuller House alum is fine.

On Thursday, August 26th, the actor posted a photo of himself on his Instagram page, lying on a hospital bed, wearing a hospital gown and cap. He also shared a picture of a bandage on the palm of his hand.

“Damn # trigger finger!” Stamos wrote. “I was there for a quick elective procedure – in and out! Thanks to the good doctors / nurses who looked after me so well. I’ll be up and drumming in no time. Thanks for the good wishes. Xo.”

The trigger finger occurs when a finger or thumb blocks the flexed position, often through repeated use. While most cases will go away with rest and time, severe cases will require surgery to relieve the inflamed tendon. The state can affect anyone, including musicians. Stamos often performs on stage as a drummer for the Beach boys.
