John Mulaney wasn’t single for long.
The 38-year-old Saturday Night Live is dating an actress Olivia MunnThe news comes just three days after Mulaney’s agent announced that he had separated from his six-year-old wife. Anna Marie Tendler.
A source close to Mulaney told people that he met Munn at church and that their relationship was new.
In December 2020, the comedian entered a rehab center to help with his addiction, according to several outlets. At the time, Munn showed her support on Twitter, writing, “Send so much love and support to John Mulaney. You got that.”
Mulaney told Esquire in 2019 that he stopped using cocaine and alcohol in 2005 and that he has been sober since then.
After reportedly ending his 60-day stint in February 2021, he returned to the stage for his first show this week. He made an appearance on Monday, May 10th at the City Winery in New York under the supervision of Rolling Stone’s executive editor David Fear called “Remarkably raw, vulnerable, personal.” He said the prankster spent 90 minutes “mostly processing his intervention and rehab experience,” quoting Mulaney as saying, “When I’m alone, I realize I’m with the person trying has to kill me. “
