Cazzie, who published her collection of essays No One Asked For This in 2020, turned 27 on Monday, May 10th. John Mayer has known her for several years and he did his part in attending the celebration.
John posted a photo on his Instagram story of Cazzie and a dog buddy playing tag in front of a beautiful mountain backdrop. “Happy birthday @cazziedavid,” said the 43-year-old “Say” singer of the idyllic shot. “I care about you very much! Enjoy your special day.”
Cazzie did not publicly respond to the message, but republished it in her own story. It was just a note among a flurry of greetings and gifts from friends she shared her story, including a card from the Umbrella Academy star Elliot Page.
The singer’s message “Your Body Is a Wonderland” comes after him and Cazzie Larry David‘s daughter and previously dated Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidsonwere photographed eating sushi at Katsuya Restaurant in Studio City, California on Saturday May 1st.
