John Mayer and Cazzie David I spent an evening in Los Angeles this week.
On Saturday May 1st, the “Gravity” singer and comedian were spotted having dinner together at the Katsuya sushi restaurant in Studio City. A source says E! News that they believe this outing is nothing romantic and that John is single.
This isn’t the first time it’s John and Cazzie Larry David‘s daughter and previously dated Saturday Night Live’s Pete Davidsonwere seen hanging out. In fact, the two seem to have been friends for a while. In October 2018, Cazzie appeared on John’s unofficial Instagram live show Current Mood, where she asked him questions about various TMI topics – like whether he masturbates to his own music. (He says he doesn’t.)
He also shared about his dating life and how much he was rejected for being what he called “PR poison” for celebrities.
“I don’t think people like, ‘I got John Mayer,'” he said. (And yes, he’s said that before Jessica Simpson published details about their relationship in their new open book.)
He also confirmed when Cazzie asked that he occasionally play his music for dates.
