The 2001 Super Bowl halftime performance was titled “The Kings of Rock and Pop” for all the right reasons. Believe it or not, this year marks the 20th anniversary of the audience Aerosmith, ‘N Sync, Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige and Nelly everyone shares the same stage. It wasn’t a typical line-up, but it’s safe to say that 10 minutes of screen time wasn’t enough.
The show started with an appearance by ‘N Sync of their classic “Bye Bye Bye” and got better and better as legendary rock, pop and R&B stars swept the stage.
