Trust is the key.

Drs. Paul Nassif and Terry Dubrow have their hands full (literally) with new patients Donniewho has been hiding his stomach since a devastating car accident eight years ago. The 27-year-old construction worker survived a “rolled and upside-down” vehicle, but had an asymmetrical torso. “My left side looks like a large bull shark appeared and just took a big bite out,” joked Donnie.

But his injury causes pain on the construction site: from his tool belt buckle chafing the area to a lack of shirtless self-confidence, Donnie is still suffering from the aftermath of the accident. “It’s almost unbearable,” said Donnie. “It was the worst day of my life. My life just changed so much.”

Donnie doesn’t remember much about the accident. “I just remember looking down, it reminded me of the way diamonds sparkled,” Donnie recalled. “There was so much glass and dirt in my side and the blood was obviously flowing.”
