The 37-year-old yoga teacher shared a long message on Instagram on Thursday July 8th, sharing how she and her husband did Alec Baldwin spent time during the pandemic explaining to their six children that people can feel part of more than one culture. While Hilaria didn’t make it explicitly clear, the Post appeared to refer to her legacy scandal that sparked late last year.
“We talked about how we grew up, our languages, our cultures – multi-faceted and very valid,” she wrote. “We talked about belonging and how there are people who want to deny others their right to belong.”
Hilaria continued, “When you are multi it can feel difficult to belong. You go back and forth all the time, trying to be more of this or more, immerse yourself in a world of labels when maybe there isn’t one that perfectly defines you. You will never fully fit in because the other parts of you shape and influence all of your parts. “
