John was on the Late Show promoting his long-late horror film, A Quiet Place Part II, in which he directed his wife, and the filmmaker couldn’t stop singing her praises.
“The truth is, I think she’s the most talented actress we’ve got,” enthused John delightfully. “I mean, she’s just the most amazingly talented person, but she’s more than just an amazing person on set. The entire crew, everyone who’s there, just loves being on set a lot more.”
Without revealing any spoilers, Stephen teased that a scene near the end with children was a clue to the host of how much affection John has for his own children. Sure enough, the actor was quick to agree.
“As psychotic as it seems when you look at the poster, these films are a love letter to my children,” said the proud dad. “You really are.”
