Drake Bell admitted on 23 April, according to the Ohio District Attorney’s Office. He is expected to be sentenced on July 12 in Cleveland.

Sentences can range from suspended sentences to two years in prison, according to the Associated Press.

While Bell’s lawyer Ian Friedman told the news organization he was unable to comment on the case, but said that the 34-year-old actor’s conviction will reveal “why Mr. Bell chose today’s plea”.

Bell, who starred in the Nickelodeon show Drake & Josh in the early 2000s and whose real name is Jared “Drake” Bell, was arrested on June 3 by the Cleveland Division of Police and charged on both counts. He was released after bailing out $ 2,500 and initially pleaded not guilty.
