Dr. Dre gives a health update after a brain aneurysm
Dr. Dre is on the mend.
E! News learned that the music icon, 55, was released on Jan. 15 from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA, where he had been since his January 5th brain aneurysm.
He was in intensive care until Jan 13 when he was moved to a private room, according to TMZ, who first reported the news. Since the doctors do not know what caused the medical emergency, the TMZ will continue to be cared for after his return home.
Ice T. also shared the good news on Twitter, writing, “Just FaceTimed with @drdre He just made it home. Safe and looking good.”
On January 5th, Dr. Dre – real name Andre Romelle Young– I thanked Instagram to thank everyone for their support during his difficult time.
“Many thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and good wishes,” he wrote in the caption of himself in the recording studio. “I’m great and I’m being looked after by my medical team. I’ll be out of the hospital and home soon. Greetings to all the great medics at Cedars. One Love !!”
