OK, technically its onscreen performer, The Crown Star Josh O’Connor appeared in 2021 with Golden Globes on behalf of the Netflix royal drama that received the most nominations. But the actor revealed E! ‘S Karamo on Live From E !: Countdown to the Golden Globes, which he almost passed on to play the real royal.
“It’s kind of embarrassing,” admitted O’Connor. “I think I had another job and got a phone call that said, ‘Would I come in and read for Charles?’ I mean it was a terrible mistake! “
