Chrissy Teigen has one less social media platform to worry about.
The 35-year-old model took to Twitter on Wednesday March 24th to announce that she has left Twitter. The star, known for her frequent viral tweets and speaking openly with other users, posted a long thread explaining her reasons for leaving the app.
Shortly after sharing the thread, she deleted her account, although the Twitter account for her food-based company, Cravings, appears to be still active.
“You have been my world for over 10 years,” she wrote. “I honestly owe so much to this world we have created here. I really do consider so many of you my real friends.”
She continued, “But it’s time for me to say goodbye. This is no longer serving me as positively as negatively, and I think this is the right time to call something.”
Chrissy, who doesn’t seem to be changing her Instagram presence, said she feels “pain” when she can’t make people happy, adding, “I’ve always been portrayed as the clapping back girl, but I’m just not. “”
