Ryan Reynolds maybe an Avenger made an epic appearance in Free Guy – but it wasn’t Chris Hemsworth.
Just days after the film was released, the Free Guy star took to Instagram on August 17th to thank some of the stunning roster of actors who made cameos in his latest film. “This movie is about friendship,” Ryan captioned a few pictures of himself next to the actors on the set. “And friendship is easiest to just show up. I don’t have photos of everyone, but here are all of the amazing friends who showed up for this movie. #FreeGuy.”
The series of snapshots included stars Channing Tatum, Hugh Jackman, Dwayne The Rock Johnson, John Krasinski and Captain America himself: Chris Evans.
Evans’ Marvel colleague Hemsworth couldn’t resist the opportunity to poke fun at not being there to wield his character’s gavel in the video game-centric film. “Don’t worry, buddy,” he commented on Ryan’s post, adding, “The least I could do, BFFs.” Ryan replied jokingly, “Evans said you weren’t ‘camera ready’. Whatever that means. “
