The bride carried Vera Wang.
Less than two weeks later Ariana Grande and her broker husband Dalton Gomez “I do” said in a private ceremony at Ariana’s home in Montecito, California. New photos on Vogue revealed the bride and groom on their special day shared with fewer than 20 guests in attendance. And yes, that includes pictures of the gorgeous wedding dress of the singer “Positions”.
According to the magazine, Ariana, who also wore a gown designed by Wang at the Sistine Chapel-inspired Met Gala 2018, reached an agreement with the designer to create her wedding gown years earlier. Wang kept that promise and designed an empire waist dress with a sculpted neckline for the Grammy winner.
Dalton meanwhile wore a black and white suit from Tom Ford.
Another celebrity favorite designer, Lorraine Schwartzdesigned pearl and diamond earrings for Ari – with a special meaning behind them. The singer wore an earring upside down to mark the challenging or “wrong” moments in her life.
Ariana, whose album Sweetener turns a photo of herself upside down, tweeted in June 2018 about her reason for the upside-down aesthetic. She wrote: “I showed Aaron a photo and he sat across from me and said, ‘I even love it upside down’ and that was kind of for me at the time when I was feeling v ‘upsideown’ and the simplicity for a while like oh duh wow my bestie was a genius. Everything clicked afterwards. “
