On Tuesday June 8th, the lead singer of the Australian pop rock band Luke HemmingsHe announced that he is engaged to his longtime girlfriend and The X Factor winner Sierra Deaton.
Luke and Sierra, who were romantically linked for the first time in 2018, revealed that the proposal actually took place some time ago.
“With trembling hands, but with all my heart, I proposed to my best friend at the beginning of the year,” the 24-year-old captioned Instagram photos from the moment he dropped one knee. “I love you Thao and I cannot imagine my life without you.”
As for Sierra, she said it was “so fun keeping this a secret for so long,” but noted that it was finally time to let fans join in on the relationship’s exciting milestone. “My heart is almost bursting at the seams,” she continued. “can’t wait forever.”
In one photo the 30-year-old Sierra shows her breathtaking pear-shaped diamond ring, while in another the future bride and groom closes their lips in front of a picturesque landscape.
