Miley Cyrus brought sequins, feathers and loads of their sparkling personalities to the historic Ryman Auditorium in their hometown of Nashville, TN to celebrate Pride Month with a special peacock concert tonight, June 25th. From disco covers to drag queen performers, Miley Cyrus presents Stand Byrus They were a moving homage to the long “climb” for LGBTQ + rights and representation. It was also a great party!
Guests of honor Maren Morris, Small big city, Osborne brothers, Orville Peck, Mickey Guyton and more stars aligned to share a message of love and acceptance. And yes, there were a lot of “dancing queens”.
“It feels like a peaceful protest,” Miley shared on Instagram on June 23 before the streaming premiere. “There are laws that are jeopardizing the lgbtq + community across the country and even here in my home state – we cannot and will not stop doing everything in our power to make the changes that we are not just here, but want to see AROUND THIS WORLD!
